You can considerably improve the taste of food courtesy of the Brita Purity 1200 Steam Filter System with Display. Calcium and magnesium ions will be removed from water via an ion exchanger. Better still, the filter material will bind metals including lead and copper while reducing organic contaminants. You will benefit from 3-stage filtration:
Pre-filtration
Coarse particles are trapped while laminar water distribution ensures optimum use of the downstream filter medium.
Carbonate hardness reduction
The filter medium reduces hardness to minimise limescale deposits. Taste impairing elements in water are removed.
Fine filtration
Fine fleece captures any remaining particles.
This advanced system utilises the latest filtration technology to minimise the presence of all substances that could negatively impact taste and aroma. It will also deliver increased flow rate and will also limit pressure loss to improve the efficiency of larger combi steamers and ovens. Note that all elements of BRITA cartridges can be reprocessed so that the materials can be recycled.
