Recycled Newspaper Bags

Our Recycled Newspaper Bags are a true testament to both creativity and compassion. Made by an inspiring NGO founded by former street children, these eco-friendly bags are crafted from recycled Indian newspapers. Each one is a symbol of hope, created by those who once had nothing, but now use their skills to give back to their community.

The initiative began in 2004 when a group of older street children – now adults with families – decided to support others in need by crafting newspaper bags and jute items. This sustainable project not only provides an income for these artisans but also supports 13 other street children, offering them a chance at education and a better life, free from the harsh realities of street life in Delhi.
