Thermometer Calibration Tool

A simple and easy to use tool for calibrating your thermometer that works with boiling or freezing water.

To use this tool to calibrate your thermometer you will need either boiling or freezing water. Once you have prepared the water, thread the thermometer stem through the hole in the calibration tool, ensuring the nut on the underside of the thermometer face is aligned with the grooves in the calibration tool. Then, insert the thermometer into the water and turn the nut on the thermometer with the tool to move the pointer. The pointed should be aligned with 212°F/100°C if you are using boiling water, or 32°F/0°C if you are using freezing water.
