The chopping board has been oiled with a food safe 100% mineral oil so s ready to use straight from the box. We also supp a free 50ml bottle of mineral oil help to keep your board in perfect condition!
To stop the chopping board from capping or splitting we recommend cleaning the board with a damp cloth and not in the sink and applying a new coat of oil once a year or when needed .
