Here’s our top tips for using the Toddy Cold Brew Coffee Maker:

• Use freshly roasted and coarsely ground beans together with filtered water.
• To fill, insert the stopper into the outside bottom of the brewing container. Then, dampen the filter and insert it into the inside bottom of the brewing container.
• Add 200ml of water into the brewing container plus 170g of coffee. Slowly poor in an additional 700ml of water using a circular motion. Add the remaining 170g of coffee, wait five minutes and then add the final 700ml of water. Do not stir.
• Press down gently on the grounds with the back of a spoon to ensure all grounds are moistened.
• Steep the coffee for 12 to 18 hours to produce a smooth, rich flavour. Remove the stopper and allow the coffee concentrate to pass into the glass decanter.
• Serve 2 parts coffee concentrate with three parts water or milk. The water or milk may be hot or cold.
