Roots Red Bowl by Shakspeare Glass

A stunning bowl by contemporary glass artist Will Shakspeare.  The piece is inspired by trees and is predominantly red in colour with ‘roots’ in blues and a kaleidoscope of colours.

Will has been making his own inimitable glassware for nearly 30 years and is one of the country’s most collected contemporary makers.

This is a very striking piece is one of two that we have from this series, the other is Roots Orange Bowl – what a pair they would make in your collection!

“A development from the Knarly range Roots is all about the trees.

I am trying to make them with a freedom, worrying less about symmetry and more about the feel of the piece.“
